Wine Farm

This 64 ha farm, with 25 ha Vineyards, is situated on the slopes of the mountains close to the town of Somerset West. The vineyards can be expanded to +-40 ha if necessary in future.

It is about 6 km from the Atlantic Ocean, facing South with spectacular views over False Bay and Cape Point, and is +-35 minutes from Cape Town. Cape Town International Airport is about 20 min from the farm. Two Yacht Clubs, many Golf courses etc. close by.

There are two large homes, laborer cottages, offices, out buildings and a Wine Cellar.

There is a Wine Cellar that can do 300 mt and produce 48,000 bottles of wine annually. The farm has a contract to export 2000 cases of wine annually to Europe. All the grapes on the farm are vinified at the cellar. Traditional vinification and gentle handling gives expression to the wines on the farm.

The cellar comprises a barrel cellar which holds 150 barrels for the maturation of the Red wines.

The limited production is made by the wine farmer himself and include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc Chenin Blanc, Floreal "Blanc de Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
