The 'Chateau is situated near West of Dijon in France with its own motorway exit .The 'Chateau was built as a hunting lodge in 1830 at the same period that the 'Canal de Bourgogne' was created. It is set at the entry of the valley Ouche, a very popular destination for trippers. The house was fully renovated and equipped with the newest technology in 1991 so today it is presented in the 4 stars standard. Currently it is used as a company headquarters and as a hotel for meetings. The chateau contains a bistro, two restaurants and a hunting lodge and offers luxury rooms and suites for 24 guests. Additionally the chateau owns particular rooms for meetings and management issues so there is a living area of 1350 m2 and a usable floor space of 900 m2 available.

It is surrounded by 430,000 m2 of grounds, a private airfield (runway 800 m), a vineyard, a golf-driving-range (Par 3), a tennis court, two heated swimming pools, a pool house including a fitness centre, sauna, etc., an area for your leisure time with a garden and a covered barbecue place, about 12,000 m2 reserve with game, pheasants and hares registered right to hunt, a château chapel and four outbuildings (caretaker's house, garages).

Situated in a separate building, the Royal suite is completely independent, with a very romantic bedroom in the upstairs accessible via a spiral staircase. The double or twin beds are surrounded by an elegant atmosphere with wooden beams, a view into the park and forest. Downstairs offers a vast living area with sofas, desks, music centre, television and large sliding French windows allowing access to your private patio. Please note that it is possible to install two more beds in this suite for children or adults.

The bedroom of the Royal suite has two large beds (twin or double), telephone and television. The bathroom is spacious with twin hand basins, shower and a bath tub.

A fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and a private winter garden add to the delight of this suite.

The duplex suite is equipped with direct telephone, satellite television, central heating, kitchen, winter garden, private patio and parking area. This suite is the size of a house (103 square metres plus and 34 square metres of patio) and is an ideal base for people wishing a long stay to explore Burgundy (please check out our special price packages for long stays).

All guests of the Royal suite also have access to the swimming pools, tennis, sauna, fitness centre and other activities of the Chateau. The bathroom is spacious with twin hand basins, shower and a bath tub.

The restaurant of Château is a member the Chaine des Rotisseurs, the French chef Jean Pierre Puaud has many years experience in the art of gastronomy; he'll prepare your table with the skill and patience that has made France one of the world's capital for gourmet food. À la carte menus which offer a large choice and the selection of wines from many regions of France will be a delight for you.

The history is rich and long, from the brave Gaulois' stand against the Roman Empire at Alesia Sainte Reine, the birth of Cistercian abbeys such as Clunny and Citeaux, to the reign of the Burgundy Dukes, who fought the French king up to the 16th century. Home to famous people such as Gustave Eiffel and Buffon.

The wine culture of Burgundy dates back to the Roman times, when the first vineyards were planted in the Saône valley, mastered by the savoir faire of the Cistercian monks, to what has now become a world renowned enterprise. The abbeys such as Clos de Vougeot became the centres of knowledge for producing quality wines. With skill and patience, the famous red Pinot Noirs such as Aloxe Corton, Chambertin, Pommard, or the white Chardonnays with the names of Batard Montrachet, Meursault, Corton Charlemagne attained the highest levels of excellence.

A strong tradition exists for gourmet cuisine, the names of Gillot, Lameloise, Loiseau, Lorain, Meneau and Thibert are all Michelin rated chefs with four holding the most prestigious 3 star ratings.
